There were two different Game of the Year nominees and two of the wildest endings we have seen so far this year in Week 5. The Seahawks and 49ers set the bar high for great games with 8 combined sacks, 7 combined turnovers, a fight, and a great ending. The very next night, the Bills and Rams may have one upped it with an overtime thriller filled with head-scratching decisions, missed kicks, and explosive plays. The Jags showed us that it ain’t over till the fat lady sings and the Commanders proved that a time management coach and QB might be more needed than they think. This week has a lot to live up to. Here are our Top 3 2026 NFL Games Week 6.
Seattle Seahawks vs Denver Broncos
Two of the best teams in the league are squaring off in primetime. The Seahawks are coming off their second loss of the season and Sam Darnold looked under pressure and overmatched a week ago against a beat-up 49ers defense. How is he going to fare against an even better Broncos defense that is excellent at forcing turnovers? The Broncos handed the Chargers their fifth straight loss of the season, but it wasn’t easy. They scored 13 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to take control of the game and win, but their offense has yet to look all that impressive this season. Sean Payton took over playcalling and nothing really improved. It’s worth wondering whether it’s the playcalling or a regression from Bo Nix. Either way, it’s not great to try and figure that out against the reigning Super Bowl champs whose backs are against the wall. My pick here is a Seattle team that isn’t happy about what happened last week. Prediction: Seahawks 25 Broncos 22
Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers
The Cowboys are coming off one of their most embarrassing losses in quite some time. They lost in primetime. They lost to a winless team. They lost to an undrafted rookie QB making his second NFL start. All around, it was a horrible look. The Packers had the opposite of that in Week 5. They took on Chicago who may not have had Caleb Williams but are still a very good team. The Packers didn’t make them look like that. They put up 31 points and dominated in a big way. Even without a legit run game, Green Bay has found its points and Christian Watson seems to be blossoming into a major star before our eyes. Green Bay gets to play this game at home, their offense is going to pick apart the Cowboys defense which might somehow be even worse than last year, and their defense should be able to keep Dallas in check. This is a game that Green Bay should easily win. Prediction: Cowboys 20 Packers 31
Buffalo Bills vs Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders have been tested this season. They’ve played the Chiefs and nearly won. They were handed a second-straight loss by the Patriots last week. It doesn’t get any easier this week with the Buffalo Bills coming to town after they played a thriller on Monday night. The only break here is that Buffalo is playing back-to-back on the road with both of those games coming on the West Coast. Lots of travel with little rest. Given that, the Raiders did just allow 45 points and this Bills offense is better than New England’s. The Bills defense could allow some points here, but I trust Josh Allen too much to bet against him. Prediction: Bills 35 Raiders 24
