Top 3 2026 NFL Games Week 5

Four weeks down in the NFL and the contenders are standing tall and proud. In the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs are fully back. KC is a perfect 4-0 and they took down the Raiders who were trying to prove they could be one of the best teams in the league during a new era. On the NFC side, it’s the San Francisco 49ers who are proving that they just needed Fred Warner and Deebo Samuel back to be a dominant team. The Minnesota Vikings are somehow still undefeated as well and like the 49ers, will be challenged in two of the most difficult divisions in all of football. There are some great games this week.  Here are our Top 3 2026 NFL Games Week 5.

San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks

The Niners are the team at the top of the NFC West. But the Seahawks are the team that have the Super Bowl trophy from last season and who beat the Niners twice in their last four games to take it home. This is a bitter rivalry. Add to that the Hawks dominating San Francisco in the divisional round and then celebrating with the Lombardi Trophy in the home locker room at Levi’s Stadium. SF has looked like the better team through the first four weeks and has beaten the Rams and Broncos to stay perfect. Seattle has had a slightly easier road with the Patriots as their biggest test. Regardless, this is one of the three most important games left on the 49ers schedule. They will face LA and Seattle one more time this year, and if they can start 2-0 against each of them, that’s a massive head start on the 1-seed in the NFC. This game could come down to the 49ers secondary which will be down a starting safety and potentially their starting inside corner. If that’s the case, I expect a big day from the Seattle air attack. Prediction: San Francisco 23 Seattle 31

Philadelphia Eagles vs Jacksonville Jaguars

It looks like the Jags’ success from a year ago wasn’t just a fluke. Jacksonville is 3-1 and sitting at the top of the AFC South. Their schedule hasn’t been easy. They’ve faced the Bengals, Patriots, Broncos, and Browns with their lone loss coming against Denver. The good news for Jacksonville is that it could be smooth sailing the rest of the way with their strength of schedule ranked the easiest in the league the rest of the year. Getting a win over Philadelphia to improve to 4-1 could be one of the biggest challenges remaining. The Eagles dropped a crucial game on Sunday. They were up by 10 with just 4 minutes remaining but allowed the Rams to score two late touchdowns to take the game. Philly is beaten up at running back, their offensive line is in shambles, and I’m not sure this is the week where they have enough juice to pull an upset. Prediction: Eagles 20 Jaguars 26

Buffalo Bills vs Los Angeles Rams

A game that consists of two of the best QBs in the league will always make it onto the top three list. Matthew Stafford and Josh Allen have won the MVP award in back-to-back seasons. As it stands, Allen has the best odds to win it in 2026. The Bills suffered their first loss of the season this past week, falling to New England in a game that showed they are human. The Rams maybe salvaged their season with the comeback against Philly to even their record to 2-2 and not drop to 1-3. Los Angeles needs to try and exploit a Buffalo defense that still has the same weakness as every other season with Josh Allen: they give up far too many points. Prediction: Bills 27 Rams 35
