This seems to be the new way of the world. Virtual meetings and gatherings still allow you to share and experience different scenarios with your loved ones, without being in the same location. If you family’s favorite team is playing or the big rival game is on, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it. Set up a virtual meeting so you can see all your loved one’s faces and reactions to the game.
Use Your Driveway
You might not be able to go to the parking lot of the stadium, but doesn’t mean you can’t recreate the feel. Organizing a socially distanced tailgate party in your parking lot will still allow you to create an environment similar to the one you miss. Setting up the TV might not be the easiest thing, but it’ll be worth it when you get to enjoy it. The best part is, unlike your driveway, the basement already has an entertainment system set up to display the game. It isn’t the real in-person experience but depending on your system it might be close. If you’re inviting people into your home, be cautious of social distancing guidelines.
