As we enter the 15th Week of the NFL season, two divisions in the AFC have already declared winners. There are other division races that are getting close enough to call while there are others like the NFC South and West that are weak and way too close to know a winner at this point. There are a lot of pivotal games in Week 15 that will go towards crowing division winners or making races that much closer. There are so many good games this week, I’ll give you a bonus preview for a fourth game. Here are our Top 4 2024 NFL Games Week 15.
Los Angeles Rams vs San Francisco 49ers
The Rams shocked the NFL World in Week 14 by taking down the Buffalo Bills. It was a shootout but one that ended with Matt Stafford and his team on top and still in contention for the NFC West crown. The Rams are currently in second place, behind Seattle, and really need another division win and a potential tiebreaker over the Niners to boost them since they get another game against Seattle down the line. San Francisco has just an 8 percent chance of making the postseason but it’s hard to ever truly count them out. If the Niners were to run an upset on Thursday Night Football and the Seahawks were to lose this week…. things get interesting. Prediction: Rams 27 49ers 24
Buffalo Bills vs Detroit Lions
Yes. This is the best matchup of the week. The best team in the NFC vs the current two-seed in the AFC. This has been a brutal stretch for Buffalo as they traveled and lost at Los Angeles last week and now must travel to Detroit this week. The Lions have had a couple of close calls in the last two weeks, and this might just be their toughest task yet. Josh Allen vs Jared Goff should be a great battle and if I am being honest, this is what I have pegged as my Super Bowl matchup. The Bills defense was shredded a week ago while the Lions proved that to beat them, you must kill them. I think the Lions have at least one more loss coming this season, just not this week. Prediction: Bills 28 Lions 34
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Philadelphia Eagles
Who doesn’t love an in-state rival? The Steelers are the front-runners in the AFC North as they hold a two-game lead over the Ravens who face the New York Giants this week. The Steelers wish they had a game as easy, but instead get the NFC East leading Eagles who have put up incredible offensive numbers and have a fantastic pass defense. The Eagles have a different vibe around them this season, even if Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown are beefing. The Steelers have shown some cracks in their defense this season and the Eagles are ready to exploit them. Prediction: Steelers 20 Eagles 21
Seattle Seahawks vs Green Bay Packers
There are a lot of good teams in the NFC and if they don’t win their divisions, they are fighting for a wild card spot. The Seahawks control their destiny in the NFC West under first-year head coach Mike Macdonald. They are coming off a dominant win over the Arizona Cardinals. The Packers are coming off a Thursday Night heartbreaker against the Detroit Lions. But to me, there is a clear gap in talent. I think Green Bay wins this game, gets themselves closer to a Wild Card spot, and creates total chaos in the West. Prediction: Seahawks 20 Packers 31
