Top 3 2025 NFL Games Week 8

Outside of a few games, Week 7 in the NFL was pretty tame. But…those few games that were entertaining weren’t just good, they were great. The Bengals and Steelers took us back to a time when Aaron Rodgers and Joe Flacco were still top quarterbacks in the league. Flacco was slinging that thing and got the win. The Broncos made one of the greatest comebacks that I’ve ever witnessed, scoring 33 in the fourth to upset the Giants. Let’s hope this week adds to the excitement.  Here are our Top 3 2025 NFL Games Week 8.

Dallas Cowboys vs Denver Broncos

The Broncos truly put together one of the better comebacks that I’ve seen in recent years. Dallas has a bad defense and an offense that can explode at any given time. So needless to say, this should be a high-scoring affair that will be a shootout. Denver’s defense has taken a step back and the Dallas run game has had their way with most defenses so far this season. George Pickens and Cee Dee Lamb together, playing at the level they are, makes this a Dallas offense that is capable of scoring whenever they want. When there are games like this that will come down to a shootout, I typically lean on the home team and who has won in a similar position. Denver is both home and just won a game that came down to the wire. I will lean Denver in this game with lots of points. Prediction: Dallas 30 Denver 33

Green Bay Packers vs Pittsburgh Steelers

The Packers are currently the top seed in the NFC thanks to their tie with the Cowboys a few weeks ago. They looked like they were in a bad spot with the Arizona Cardinals, but Josh Jacobs made a couple of clutch runs and found the end zone while their defense bent but didn’t break. The Steelers showed their weaknesses a week ago, especially on defense where they failed to put any sort of coverage plan on Ja’Marr Chase. The Packers have a ton of targets who can make you pay, and Pittsburgh doesn’t seem up to the challenge of stopping them. This is a tough game on the road, but the Packers are the better team and should continue their NFC 1-seed ownership. Prediction: Packers 28 Steelers 20

Washington Commanders vs Kansas City Chiefs

The Commanders and Dan Quinn felt the pain against the Cowboys on Sunday as Dallas racked up points and made light of a bad Washington secondary that had no answers for Lamb or Pickens. Unfortunately for them, it won’t get easier with Patrick Mahomes lining up against them as he has Rashee Rice back and has developed a good connection with Hollywood Brown over the last few games. So, the question becomes, can the Commanders stop Mahomes and make enough stops to keep them in the game? Washington could be without Jayden Daniels for another game, and I don’t trust Marcus Mariota enough to win in a fight against him. I have KC adding another win to the resume. Prediction: Commanders 17 Chiefs 26
