Top 3 2025 NFL Games Week 6

Every week, there seems to be a team that does something unspeakable or a calls a play that makes absolutely no sense. Somehow, the Arizona Cardinals ended up fulfilling both of those things on Sunday when they faced the Titans and embarrassed themselves in spectacular fashion. It was a wacky week in the NFL and at the end of it, not a single team remains undefeated. It’s going to be a year of parity in the NFL and that is always entertaining.  Here are our Top 3 2025 NFL Games Week 6.

San Francisco 49ers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Two teams, both 4-1. Sign me up. The 49ers have managed some good wins despite having what seems to be having only half their team on the field due to injuries Brock Purdy is very likely set to miss more time this week as Mac Jones has proved that he can handle that backup role with ease. Baker Mayfield doesn’t have a healthy team either, missing Bucky Irving, Mike Evans, and members of his offensive line. The Bucs defense has been the real issue, looking more like Swiss cheese than a formidable unit but they have managed to outscore four of their five opponents thanks to an electric offense and Baker Mayfield’s ability to make plays. The 49ers are coming in with extra rest and have won four straight games against Tampa, but I think the luck runs out on a hot day in Tampa. Prediction: 49ers 24 Bucs 31

Detroit Lions vs Kansas City Chiefs

This is NOT a drill. The Kansas City Chiefs are a game under .500 five games into the season. It’s pretty fun to watch the Chiefs stumble a little bit this year and if we are being honest with ourselves, it’s probably just setting up a huge run in the back half of the year. The Lions on the other hand have looked every bit as good as they did a year ago and Jared Goff is getting more and more comfortable in this new offense week after week. With all the weapons they have and a defense that can create some chaos, the Chiefs have a real chance of dropping another game. When you are the best, you have the biggest target on your back and that’s what the Chiefs are dealing with. Lots of primetime games with all eyes on them and teams coming for blood. Unfortunately for them, I see a shootout resulting in another loss. Prediction: Lions 30 Chiefs 27

Chicago Bears vs Washington Commanders

The Bears could use a signature win. They could also use a palette cleanser from this game a year ago when the Commanders and Jayden Daniels put themselves on the map with a Hail Mary game winner as time expired. Washington got a much-needed win against the Chargers on the road a week ago to get them above .500 and hang around the top of the NFC East. The Bears had a bye week which is probably the worst time to have one, just five weeks in, but are 2-2 and have shown signs of progress already under new head coach Ben Johnson. Offenses will be the name of the game here although Washington seems to have found a groove last week defensively, holding the Chargers to just 10 points. I am banking on that momentum to carry into this week and a rough week for Caleb Willams. Prediction: Bears 20 Commanders 28
