Top 3 2025 College Football Games Week 4

Oh, so close. The taste of an SEC upset was on everyone’s minds as Tennessee held a late lead over the Georgia Bulldogs but there is no counting out the Dawgs. Notre Dame thought they had a game in the bag too against the Aggies from Texas A&M, but Mike Elko’s squad stayed in the fight and stole a game in South Bend. It’s been three incredible weeks in the world of college football, and this week is only better. There are some great games this week. Here are our Top 3 College Football Games Week 4.

No. 22 Auburn vs No. 11 Oklahoma

The Tigers are off to a 3-0 start but their only quality win came in Week 1 against a good Baylor Bears squad. Still, Hugh Freeze seems to have finally found an offensive rhythm. Jeremiah Cobb is proving to be one of the best running backs in the country. That sets up a fun matchup against Oklahoma who held Michigan to less than two touchdowns. John Mateer is stepping up at quarterback and giving them a legit name at the position. Going into Norman is a tough ask and I think I am rolling with the Sooners who seem to have their swagger back for the first time since Lincoln Riley left. Prediction: Auburn 21 Oklahoma 28

Florida vs No. 6 Miami

I knew that Miami was going to compete for an ACC title this year as Mario Cristobal entered a critical season for his tenure. Carson Beck looks sharp. While I don’t view him as a Heisman type, he is a great game manager, and they are winning because of it. Their defense has been top notch, and I think they have no real issue stopping a Florida team that is coming off back-to-back losses to South Florida and LSU. They have scored 26 points over the last two weeks and there are now serious concerns that DJ Lagway may have entered this season with too much hype. Billy Nappier is feeling a fire under his seat and there is a real world where if this game is a blowout, he could be the next head coach on the chopping block this season. Prediction: Florida 17 Miami 30

No. 9 Illinois vs No. 19 Indiana

This is a great matchup in the Big Ten. The conference is so stacked. We immediately think of Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan’s of the world. But Illinois is putting together a second straight great year, Indiana is doing the same. This is a critical Top 25 matchup for both teams. With a win, Illinois can move up the ranks or stabilize their spot but an upset for Indiana can put them into legit contender conversations. Illinois is led by one of the more underrated QBs in the country in Luke Altmyer who already has over 700 passing yards with 8 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Indiana paid a lot of money to Fernando Mendoza who has lit it up. I expect an offensive shootout in this game. Prediction: Illinois 40 Indiana 45
