Top 3 2025 College Football Games Week 10

Woah. Brian Kelly is out. This is a crazy college football season where we have already seen a couple of massive coaches be taken out. Penn State, Florida, Arkansas, and LSU proved that they weren’t messing around. We saw UCLA out west make a change as well. In the era of this expanded CFP where it feels like everyone has a chance, programs aren’t giving coaches a long leash anymore. From the fake accent to the cringy recruiting videos and now the subpar results on the field, Kelly never felt like the guy in Baton Rouge. That’s the world we live in. Here are our Top 3 2025 College Football Games Week 10.

No. 9 Vanderbilt vs No. 20 Texas

The only good win that Texas has this season is against Oklahoma and it was against a really beat up John Mateer. I am not sold on the Longhorns being in the Top 25 this season and I am even less sure of Arch Manning as a QB in general. Vanderbilt on the other hand looks legit. Diego Pavia got the job done against Mizzou, but it was even more so a performance from their defense that proved that this Commodores team is going to be tough to get past. They are the best story in college football this season. They have to go into Austin and prove that they truly belong yet again this week, but I just haven’t seen the fight in this Texas team that makes me nervous for Vandy. Prediction: Vanderbilt 25 Texas 17

No. 10 Miami vs SMU

The ACC Championship is completely up for grabs at this point as Georgia Tech is the only 5-0 team that sticks out amongst the rest. Miami is still the second-best team in the ACC in my eyes but this is a trap game for the number ten team in the country if I have ever seen one. The Mustangs are coming off a tough loss against Wake Forest, but they have shown promise throughout the season. We know that their defense is going to allow a ton of yards and that Miami will score on the 52nd ranked scoring defense in the country. The question is whether their offense will respond and challenge the Canes. I think it will be closer than most think. Prediction: Miami 44 SMU 38

Penn State vs No. 1 Ohio State

No James Franklin and no Drew Allar and we are just to the halfway point of the season. I am sure this isn’t how Nittany Lions fans thought their season would be going when they entered this game against the number one team in the country. Ohio State has been as good as advertised. 16 points is the most they’ve allowed in a game this season. But Penn State was able to manage 24 against a very good Iowa defense. Can they crack the Buckeyes this time around? My answer is no. While this has the makings of a total trap game, I just don’t think they can rise to the occasion against Ryan Day’s team. Purdue and UCLA in the following weeks tells me that Ohio State won’t be looking ahead. Prediction: Penn State 20 Ohio State 31
