Top 3 2024 NFL Games Week 6

The NFL is out of control. We already have one coach fired and we aren’t even six weeks into the year. Aaron Rodgers looks like he regrets coming back from his dark house retreat, the San Francisco 49ers look like they are hungover from their Super Bowl loss, and rookie QBs are somehow taking over the league. It’s been an interesting five weeks and the slate for week six looks like it’s going to be a good one. Here are our Top 3 2024 NFL Games Week 6.

San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks

Anytime these two teams meet, something interesting usually happens. It’s a great rivalry but it’s been one the 49ers have dominated the last two years. The Niners have five straight wins, including the playoffs, against the Seahawks. This is Seattle’s chance to get back on the right track of this rivalry as the 49ers come trudging into town fresh off a loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Seattle is coming off a strange loss to the New York Giants who returned a blocked field goal for a touchdown in the final minute, that would have tied the game, to bury the Hawks. Still, Seattle feels like they have an upper hand in this game despite being underdogs, according to Vegas. Geno Smith is slinging it, and SF has been atrocious in the red zone. Unfortunately, I think tensions and frustrations come out in this game and it may be too much for Seattle to deal with. Prediction: 49ers 35 Seahawks 24

Detroit Lions vs Dallas Cowboys

This should be a very fun rematch from the end of last season when the Cowboys beat the Lions 20-19 after Dan Campbell decided to go for two, and failed, after scoring a touchdown with 23 seconds remaining in the game. Right now, the Cowboys look like a team that could miss the postseason considering they have a couple of meh wins and a couple of bad losses. CeeDee Lamb was visibly upset with Dak Prescott during their Sunday night win over the Steelers, and it took nearly every second of that game to scrape out a dub against a Pittsburgh offense that is as impressive as your kids elementary drawing of you. The Lions have played good football this season and their offense hasn’t skipped a beat from last year. My prediction is a big game from Lamb but a nice win for Detroit. Prediction: Lions 28 Cowboys 20

Washington Commanders vs Baltimore Ravens

How good is Jayden Daniels? Well…I’m not sure the Commanders have made a top three list in two or three seasons. That’s how good the future Rookie of the Year is playing if he keeps up this pace. The Commanders have the best offense in football with a lethal rushing attack backed by Daniels arm and playmaking abilities. So, Daniels vs. Lamar Jackson could be a fun new duel that I am excited to watch for years to come. I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that Washington could win the NFC East, but every game is going to matter, and this is no different. I’m just not sure they are ready to compete with the big dogs like Baltimore just yet. The Ravens pulled off one of the more improbable wins of the season last week by scoring 13 unanswered points after trailing by 10 with just over eight minutes to play. It isn’t Washington’s week, but this will be a fun one to watch.  Prediction: Commanders 30 Ravens 38
