It felt like Week 10 went as kickers went. The Broncos had their chances of spoiling Kansas City’s perfect season ruined because of a blocked kick. The Lions erased a 5-interception performance from Jared Goff because of two long, clutch kicks in the fourth quarter. The 49ers missed three kicks, one ignited a friendly fire fight and yet they still won. All that being said, there was lots of drama and a ton of great games last week. This week has some great games for us to watch as well. Here are our Top 3 2024 NFL Games Week 11.
Washington Commanders vs Philadelphia Eagles
This is definitely a Thursday Night Football game that I can get behind. Coming off last week’s Ravens/Bengals game, this one should live up to the hype as well. The NFC East is tight, and this is one of those games that could determine who wins the division thanks to tie-breaker procedures. Jayden Daniels and the Commanders served up their third loss last week after facing the Steelers. Meanwhile, Philly has quietly put together a 7-2 record and have a five-game winning streak entering Week 11. Their offense has figured it out and gotten healthy, but their defense has really been the cherry on top. They have held opponents to 20 points or less in four of those last five wins. Anytime you limit an opponent like that, you are in good shape to succeed. I see them giving Daniels and this offense some trouble since the Commanders passing game hasn’t looked as sharp in recent weeks. The division may run through Philly. Prediction: Commanders 20 Eagles 27
Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
This should be the best matchup of the week, in my opinion. You have Lamar Jackson who is the easy MVP front-runner. He has elevated this Ravens offense to new heights as they continue to put up huge scores and he continues to put up eye-opening stats. He is 1st in touchdowns and QBR, second in yards, and has thrown two interceptions all season. All those numbers are to be considered before you even look at him as a rusher. The Steelers will give him some fits as their defense is allowing the second fewest points per game. These two have yet to square off this season, but it’s the Steelers who actually hold down first place in the AFC North at this point. The Ravens defense has regressed immensely without Mike Macdonald as their defensive coordinator. This could be a real fight. Prediction: Ravens 24 Steelers 23
Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills
This has become my favorite quarterback battle in recent years. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes seem to always give us an incredible matchup. At this point, Mahomes has won the important games, including one of the most thrilling playoff performances that we have ever seen. Allen is 3-1 against Mahomes in the regular season, but Mahomes is 3-0 in the postseason. I am going with the trends here and think that Buffalo gets it done this time around as well. The Chiefs are hanging onto a perfect season by a thread. We have seen close games from them in their last three which were all one-score games. They’ve gone to overtime in two straight games and should have probably lost both of them had it not been for Mahomes pulling off his usual magic. Prediction: Chiefs 28 Bills 32
