Top 3 2023 NFL Games Week 7

Six weeks are in the books and there are no undefeated teams left in the NFL. To give you a sign of the times, the Detroit Lions are tied for the best record in the league and the New England Patriots are vying for the top overall pick in the NFL Draft. There really is no telling what will happen week in and week out in this wacky season.  Here are our Top 3 2023 NFL Games Week 7.

Detroit Lions vs Baltimore Ravens

The Lions are a powerhouse right now. Their defense is legit, and I mean that. We saw it on opening night against the Kansas City Chiefs and then they showed it off again last week against the Bucs when they held them to six total points. This team seems like they just want it more and it’s been extremely fun to watch. The Ravens are 4-2 and their defense is cruising. Lamar isn’t putting up any MVP numbers but facing this team on the road is certainly a tough challenge for Detroit and if they pull off a win, I don’t think there is any doubt that they are a legit NFC contender moving forward. I love the offensive weapons they have, and I think if this thing comes down to a last score, my money is on the Lions.  Prediction: Lions 27 Ravens 24

Los Angeles Chargers vs Kansas City Chiefs

These games have been incredibly fun to watch over the last few years. They are either shootouts or games that come down to the final minute. Patrick Mahomes has had the majority of the last laughs, but Justin Herbert is playing at an incredibly high level at the moment. The Chiefs have everything gelling at the right time (maybe thanks to Taylor Swift) but I don’t think they are running away from the division just yet. The biggest thing standing in the Chargers way is their head coach who is adamant on making bonehead decisions and risking wins because of his aggressiveness. I think this is another game that comes down to the wire and is played tightly, but I am leaning with Andy Reid and his wit over Brandon Staley.  Prediction: Chargers 20 Chiefs 23

Miami Dolphins vs Philadelphia Eagles

Two of the best teams in the league squaring off in Week 7. It’s Tua vs Hurts, the Alabama QBs who helped lead the Crimson Tide to a National Championship. I love this matchup and hope that there will be offensive fireworks. The Eagles are coming off a shocking loss to the Jets who were without both of their top two cornerbacks but still limited Jalen Hurts and company. The Dolphins seem practically impossible to slow down. Raheem Mostert is running out of his mind and then you still must figure out how to stop Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. I am giving the edge to Miami here and I think Mike McDaniels will have a masterclass ready to go.  Prediction: Dolphins 35 Eagles 28
