Top 3 2023 NFL Games Week 4

Anytime a team nearly breaks a record for points scored, there is something pretty funny about that. It was an unusual week in the NFL where some big scores were posted, some teams are losing hope in their quarterbacks, and a dating rumor has broken the league. That was all in week 3. Here are our Top 3 2023 NFL Games Week 4.

Detroit Lions vs Green Bay Packers

It feels like new eras have sprouted in both Detroit and Green Bay. Both teams enter Week 4 with a 2-1 record. The Lions are putting up massive numbers on offense and Jared Goff has been sensational. The Packers are 2-1 and there have been some ugly moments mixed in, but they pulled off an exciting comeback over the Saints in Week 3 where they scored 18 unanswered points in the 4th quarter. These two teams have the best chance at winning the NFC North and if the Lions can pull it off, they’ll have the whole country cheering for them. This is a big first test in a new wave of this rivalry which should be a lot of fun to watch. Jordan Love has been better than I expected, and their wide receiver corps is filled with great young talent that has picked up the offense seamlessly. Prediction: Lions 30 Packers 24

Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills

As things currently stand, the Miami Dolphins are the best team in the National Football League through three weeks. They scored 70 points last week and could have broken the NFL record if Mike McDaniels had kept his foot on the gas before easing off like the good sport that he is. Miami has figured it out on the offensive side of the ball but there is still improvement to be made on defense.  The Fins are faster than any team in the league so it should be a fun shootout with the Bills this week who are 2-1 and have bounced back since that ugly week 1 loss. Buffalo dominated the Raiders in Week 2 and the Commanders in Week 3. They scored 37 and 38 points respectively while allowing a combined 13 points through those two contests.  This is a fun divisional matchup but one that I am leaning towards the Dolphins in because I’ve yet to see anyone slow down this electric offense. Prediction: Dolphins 38 Bills 35

New England Patriots vs Dallas Cowboys

No one saw that Cowboys loss coming a week ago when they fell to the Arizona Cardinals who previously seemed to be actively tanking. Yet here we are a few days removed seeing how pitiful the Dallas performance was. Now they have to face Bill Belichick and the Pats who have problems of their own but were able to pull off a Week 3 win against the Jets to avoid going 0-3, a death wish for any team that is trying to make the playoffs. The Patriots have struggled to run the ball and I think Dallas will crack down on that after a disappointing week. If the Pats have their cornerbacks out for another game, I think Dak Prescott could be in for a nice bounceback game at home. Prediction: Patriots 20 Cowboys 28
