The playoff battles are heating up and the parity in the league this season should make the final four weeks of the year incredibly fun to watch. There are great battles for the number one seeds in both the NFC and AFC. There are so many bubble teams that are sinking or rising at the perfect time for drama, and it will be a blast to watch it all unfold. Here are our Top 3 2023 NFL Games Week 15.
Dallas Cowboys vs Buffalo Bills
I would argue that both teams are coming off the biggest wins of Week 14. The Bills took down the Chiefs in controversial fashion after the offsides call on Kadarius Toney. Still, it keeps the Bills just two games back of the Dolphins in the AFC East and keeps things interesting. The Cowboys are coming off a brutal beatdown of the Eagles who haven’t looked the same since their loss to the 49ers. The Cowboys have evened things up in the division and now hope they can manufacture a way into the NFC’s 1-seed spot held by the 49ers. I give Dallas the lean in this game with their defense which has been showing up week after week. It doesn’t hurt that the offense has been going crazy either. This is a night game that’s being played in Buffalo so it won’t be an easy environment, but I have seen a lot more good than bad from Dallas recently and I can’t say that consistently about the Bills. Prediction: Cowboys 28 Bills 21
Baltimore Ravens vs Jacksonville Jaguars
Wow, what a win by the Ravens last week as they literally walked it off in overtime with a punt return touchdown. That win had one of the better finishes that I’ve seen in a football game in recent history. The Jags were stunned by Joe Flacco and the Browns. Yes, you read that sentence correctly. The Jags need a healthy Trevor Lawrence to help secure the top seed in the AFC South. They are also just a few games back of the top seed in the AFC which belongs to none other than the Ravens. Something tells me this is a trickier game for Baltimore than it should be given how well the Jags have played with Lawrence on the field this season. Prediction: Ravens 23 Jaguars 26
Philadelphia Eagles vs Seattle Seahawks
The Hawks are struggling big time right now and it sounds daunting that Philly is coming to town, but they are getting them at the perfect time. The Eagles have lost two straight games, and neither was close. The week before that, the Bills nearly knocked them off at home. Seattle showed a lot of fight in the final quarter against the Niners. Literally, DK Metcalf had Fred Warner’s facemask in the palm of his hand. I think Seattle plays with a ton of energy in this one as they are still fighting for a wild card spot. If Geno Smith is back, I think the Hawks will get back on their feet and deliver the upset of the week in the NFL. Prediction: Eagles 24 Seahawks 28
