Top 3 2023 NFL Games Week 13

Week 12 was one to remember with a full slate of exciting Thanksgiving games and a couple of epic matchups on Sunday like the Bills and Eagles.  All of this is getting us excited for the playoffs. We’re down to the final third of the season and this week is packed with some compelling matchups that could be playoff previews. Here are our Top 3 2023 NFL Games Week 13.

San Francisco 49ers vs Philadelphia Eagles

No.1 vs No. 2 in the NFC at the moment and a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship game. Both teams enter this game on winning streaks and exciting wins. The Niners have really turned it on since their bye week, winning three games and watching their defense snap back into place. The Eagles haven’t lost in five weeks and have beaten teams like the Bills, Dolphins, Cowboys, and Chiefs. When you look at the teams that the Eagles are beating, it is hard to argue that they aren’t the best team in the league. This game has a direct impact on the 1-seed and who gets the coveted bye week to begin the playoffs. While the Philly defense has been suspect all season, I think they create enough pressure on a banged up 49ers offensive line to create fits for San Francisco and win a close game in likely bad weather. Prediction: 49ers 25 Eagles 28

Denver Broncos vs Houston Texans

Suddenly, the Broncos are the hottest team in the NFL, and they are making things much more interesting in the AFC West than we could have imagined. This game should have wild card implications as the Texans have been the surprise of the league in 2023 and CJ Stroud is looking to tear up another defense. The Texans lost a heartbreaker on Sunday but there was no blame on Stroud and the offense which continues to put up big numbers. What the Texans have going for them is that while Russell Wilson is playing better, there are still plenty of questions about this Broncos offense. I have a loud Texans crowd as the difference in this game. Prediction: Broncos 20 Texans 28

Kansas City Chiefs vs Green Bay Packers

Don’t look now but the Packers have won two straight and Jordan Love seems to really be putting it together in an impressive way. The Packers QB hasn’t thrown an interception in two games and his QB Rating has been over 108 in the last two weeks. We are finally seeing the version of Love the Packers thought they were getting when they made Aaron Roders mad. The Chiefs bounced back this past week against the Raiders which isn’t really saying much. Their defense continues to be their strong suit this season as they haven’t allowed more than 21 points in three straight weeks. The Packers are showing signs of improvement but I’m not ready to say they can upset the Chiefs just yet. Prediction: Chiefs 24 Packers 21
