Top 3 2022 NFL Games Week 5

There has been no shortage of exciting games in the NFL so far this season, and I wouldn’t expect Week 5 to be any different. It’s still too early to know who the best team in the league is, but a few big-time battles may prove to be important this week.  Let’s look at the top 3 2022 NFL games week 5.

Dallas Cowboys vs Los Angeles Rams

This week could mark the return of Dak Prescott, but is that what Cowboys fans really want? The crowd seems to be mixed after backup QB Cooper Rush has led them to three straight victories and has sparked some controversy thanks to comments from owner Jerry Jones. What this will come down to is money, and based on how much Jones is paying Prescott, I’m not thinking a permanent switch at the position is coming anytime soon. The Rams on the other hand are coming off a bad loss to the 49ers and the offense seems very confused. Matt Stafford doesn’t look like his typical self and the hangover from last year’s Super Bowl is very real. The Rams get the benefit of playing this one at home, but Dallas could certainly pull an upset in this game. It should be close, and the score should be low. Prediction: Cowboys 22 Rams 18

Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens

The Bengals got their most legit win of the season over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night. Now they come into Baltimore with tons of rest as the Ravens enter the week after a last-second loss to the Buffalo Bills in what was a hard-nosed football game through and through. The Bengals had lots of questions surrounding them through the first two weeks, but they have bounced back and are right back at the top of the division. While Lamar Jackson is playing well, last week proved that this Ravens offense can be limited with the right defensive gameplan. I love that Cincy has been given 10 days to prepare for this contest. The Bengals swept this series a year ago, and I like them to go out and get a road win in Week 5. Prediction: Bengals 26 Ravens 21

Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs

If there was a must-win game for one team in the NFL last week, it was the Las Vegas Raiders. They knocked off Russell Wilson and the Broncos and earned a massive first win of the year before having to travel to Kansas City to play Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs are coming off a dominant win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Mahomes has this offense running at a very high level with his new wide receiver committee and a strong backfield. If the Raiders want to prove that they are a legit team that can still make the playoffs despite a slow start, here is their chance to do exactly that. Unfortunately for them, I don’t see KC slowing down after their own hot start. Prediction: Raiders 24 Chiefs 31
