Top 3 2022 NFL Games Week 15

We are in the homestretch of the NFL season where divisional matchups are ramping up and it’s do or die for teams that are hoping to stay alive in the playoff hunt. In week 14 we saw an amazing LA Rams comeback led by new QB Baker Mayfield and a whole lot of duds from teams like the Bucs, Titans, Giants, Seahawks, and Dolphins.  There is no margin for error any more as the playoff picture is becoming clearer.  This week will be critical for many teams, so let’s break down our top 3 2022 NFL games week 15.

San Francisco 49ers Vs Seattle Seahawks

The Niners are coming off their best win of the year, a dominant blowout of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the last two weeks, they have knocked off the Bucs and the Miami Dolphins. Now, they will face off against one of the best surprises in the league thus far in the Seattle Seahawks. San Fran is two games better than Seattle right now and they have control of their destiny as they chase a division title.  However, the Hawks are very much alive in the wild card race and if they want to win the division this is a must win game at home on Thursday night. I love the 49ers defense as it seems to be teaching a masterclass every game. I will lean on this SF defense stepping up again. DeMeco Ryans is going to be a head coach in this league before we know it and he is showing that with his defensive prowess as the coordinator in the Bay Area. This could live up to be one of the top Thursday Night Games that we have this season. Prediction: 49ers 28 Seattle 17

Miami Dolphins Vs Buffalo Bills

This was an epic matchup earlier in the season where the Fins came away with a win and showed everyone that they are a force to be reckoned with. The Bills still have control of the division, leading by two games after Miami dropped two straight games while they were road-tripping in California. Josh Allen’s arm has seemed to be an issue in recent weeks after it was announced that he was dealing with elbow problems. I think that the weather in Buffalo and the revenge this Bills team wants from earlier in the season is going to give them the advantage this week. Miami has endured a brutal travel schedule going coast to coast the last two weeks. Now, it doesn’t get any easier as they travel for the third week in a row. If Miami entertains any division title hopes this is a must-win game for them. I hope this one is a shootout and the kind of game we want to see between two electric offenses. Prediction: Dolphins 27 Bills 30

New York Giants Vs Washington Commanders

Someway, somehow every single team in the NFC East is .500 or better and if the season ended after week 14 every one of them would be in the playoffs occupying four of the seven NFC positions.  What’s really bizarre about this matchup is that the Commanders were off last week but they played New York the week prior. That means they are playing the G-Men in back-to-back games. The last time out, these two tied at 20. This game has massive implications for the wild card spots in the NFC. I am leaning toward Washington with extra rest and because New York melted down against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving and were absolutely destroyed by the Eagles this past weekend. The Giants are 0-3-1 their last four games as some of the Brian Daboll early season magic appears to be wearing off as the year progresses. Prediction: Giants 20 Commanders 24
