Top 3 2022 College Football Games Week 11

Last week featured one of the most epic upsets in LSU history, a battle between number 1 and number 2, and a conference rising to new heights.  With the new CFP rankings, this week features four Top 25 matchups. This could be a very telling week for some fringe teams clinging to conference title hopes. Here are the top 3 2022 college football games week 11.

No. 4 TCU vs No. 18 Texas

The College Gameday crew is in Austin this week as the Longhorns host the TCU Horned Frogs who moved into the Top 4 of the College Football Playoff after their undefeated start. Sonny Dykes is one of the hottest names in the college football world and rightfully so. TCU has a few of the best offensive weapons in the country and they have a chance to fully dismantle Texas’ season and potentially shore up a guaranteed spot in the Big 12 Championship Game before a tough match with Baylor next week. As for Texas, their path to the Big 12 Championship game lies on this week and they would essentially be eliminated if they can’t pull an upset. If Quinn Ewers is the QB we’ve thought he is, this is the week for him to show that off. I don’t think the ‘horns have it in them though. Prediction: TCU 34 Texas 30

No. 25 Washington vs No. 6 Oregon

The Oregon Ducks are getting another big game at home and this one could just push them into the Top 4, depending on what happens to the teams in front of them. Oregon has just one loss this season. It was in the first week of the season against the reigning national champions that was practically a home game for them. I am confident that Oregon is a good enough team for the Top 4 in the CFP, but there is some convincing to be done. Washington has had a great season with a first-year coach in Seattle. They have two losses including a very bad one to the Arizona State Sun Devils. Now they’re on a three-game winning streak.  But, if we know anything it’s that Oregon plays well at home, as in a 23-game winning streak at Autzen Stadium. Prediction: Washington 20 Oregon 32

No. 22 UCF vs No. 17 Tulane

Tulane has been one of the best stories of the year as they sport one of the most explosive offenses in the country. They have major weapons at every turn, and they could be in the conversation for an at-large bowl game if they continue at this pace. In their way this week is future Big 12 member UCF who is a game behind Tulane in the AAC. The Knights will need a masterclass from defensive coordinator Travis Williams who certainly has his work cut out for him. A Top 25 win for Tulane could go a long way in securing a better ranking next week for the Green Wave. Tulane is like last year’s Cincinnati team, or even the 2017 UCF that claims they won a National Championship. This could be a huge win for the Green Wave. Prediction: UFC 24 Tulane 35
