NFL Predictions 2022

The 2022 season starts this week which means we’ve got to get our NFL predictions for awards, division winners, and Super Bowl picks down as we enter a year that has plenty of massive storylines. All eyes will be on Tom Brady and the Bucs but there are so many great teams ready to compete this season.

Division Winners

NFC East – Philadelphia Eagles: They have upgraded their defense significantly and Jalen Hurts has some serious weapons this year on offense.

NFC South – Tampa Bay Buccaneers: I am not betting against Tom Brady in what may be his final year. They tend to struggle against New Orleans but their record against others should be the difference maker.

NFC North: Green Bay Packers: No Davante Adams, may be just a minor problem for Aaron Rodgers. I still don’t think there is a team as good as the Packers in the North.

NFC West: Los Angeles Rams: They bring back nearly everyone from their Super Bowl squad and even made some upgrades on offense.

AFC East: Buffalo Bills: It feels like Super Bowl or bust for the Bills who were so close last year.

AFC South: Indianapolis Colts: The Titans lost a lot of talent and I think Matt Ryan still has life in his arm to complement a great defense.

AFC North: Baltimore Ravens: There has been some drama around the Ravens this offseason, but this defense is going to be top-three in the league and Lamar Jackson is hungry.

AFC West: Los Angeles Chargers: It is time for a new king in the West and the quarterback battle is going to be a blast to watch unfold in the division.

Playoffs

NFC Championship Game: Los Angeles Rams vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The Bucs still don’t like how it all unfolded last season, and now they’ll get revenge.

AFC Championship Game: Buffalo Bills vs Los Angeles Chargers: Justin Herbert vs Josh Allen seems like a fun new rivalry, but I like the team that has been right there for the past few years.

Super Bowl

Bucs over Bills: This is a tough game to pick, but Brady is impossible to bet against and this defense is still good enough to shut down one of best of the quarterbacks in the league with coach Todd Bowles still in Tampa.

MVP: QB Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills: Allen has emerged as one of the best quarterbacks and I have no doubt that he will be right back in the mix this year. His big arm takes home the award this year.

Defensive Player of the Year: LB Micah Parsons – Dallas Cowboys: He was a stud as a rookie, and he is only going to get better in Dallas. He made a case to win this award last year.

Offensive Player of the Year: RB Jonathan Taylor – Indianapolis Colts: Taylor was the most important player to his team last year and with an older quarterback with the Colts, he will be called on quite a bit.

Offensive Rookie of the Year: WR Skyy Moore – Kansas City Chiefs: Someone must replace Tyreek Hill and I think Moore is going to be used in a variety of ways in this Chiefs offense.

Defensive Rookie of the Year: S Kyle Hamilton – Baltimore Ravens: This guy will have an opportunity to play in some big primetime games this season and if he forces some turnovers, all eyes will be on him
