Top 3 2023 College Football Games Week 3

We’ve had two straight weeks of incredibly fun games and it could only get better this week as we get into some conference games and a couple of really fun ranked vs strong unranked matchups. This has been a fun year so far filled with a couple of classic programs coming back into the spotlight and we hope that keeps up. Here are our Top 3 2023 College Football Games Week 3.

No. 11 Tennessee vs Florida

The Gators had a big bounceback game in Week 2. Thank goodness too because it was against McNeese State. The Gators were edged out by Utah in Week 1 but now they get the Vols at the Swamp, one of the toughest places to play as an opponent. UF was able to sub out Graham Mertz pretty quickly in last week’s game, but they are still looking for some consistency from him and to get the grasp of the offense. Meanwhile, the Vols have one of the most exciting quarterbacks in the game in Joe Milton who has a cannon for an arm and isn’t afraid to use it. I’m not entirely sold on Billy Napier’s squad pulling off an upset in this game, but I do think it’ll be close. The betting line is a full touchdown but maybe we have a field goal game on our hands.  Prediction: Tennessee 29 Florida 27

Wyoming vs No. 4 Texas

This might be my favorite game on the slate for the weekend. Texas is coming off one of the biggest wins in program history. They took down Nick Saban and Alabama on the road just a year after narrowly failing to do so on their home turf. The Longhorns are way up in the rankings. This is the highest they have been since 2010. But this shouldn’t be a game that they just gloss over against Wyoming. The Cowboys already have one upset of a Big 12 school this season when they took down Texas Tech in the season opener. They followed that up with an easy win over Portland State. Now the Cowboys will come to Austin in a paycheck game with every single intention of causing an uproar and shaking up the standings. Their offense is legit and QB Andew Peasley is fun to watch. Prediction: Wyoming 24 Texas 31

No. 15 Kansas State vs Missouri

The Wildcats are doing their thing and coming right out of their Big 12 winning season firing on all cylinders. They always seem to be an under the radar team that is really consistent. They’ve yet to play real competition at this point but Will Howard looks really poised as a passer and is putting up big numbers in Manhattan. On the other side, Missouri has also jumped out to a 2-0 start but haven’t played any real teams either. This will be a total crapshoot of a game, but Missouri gets to play it at home. The Cats have only scored 40 in their first two games twice in the Chris Kleiman era so something tells me this offense isn’t a fluke and we could be in for a show on Saturday. Prediction: Kansas State 38 Missouri 24
