1 pound Diestel Ground Turkey
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1/3 cup basil, minced
1/3 cup sundried tomatoes packed in oil, drained and chopped
2 ounces Asiago cheese, grated (about ½ cup)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Mix all the ingredients together, except the turkey (and serving ingredients), until well blended. Mix in the turkey and blend well. Form into four patties. Barbecue or grill on both sides until no pink remains in the center. Serve on buns with your favorite condiments.
For Serving: Toasted buns, slices of avocado, red onion, fresh tomato, additional grated Asiago cheese, fresh basil leaves, spinach leaves or other greens.
