Last year, a 38-year-old won the MVP in a league where there are young stars who dominate. A team that had a QB that was thrown away by half the league won the Super Bowl. The NFL is unpredictable and that’s what makes it so great. Here’s our 2026 NFL predictions.
Awards
MVP: Justin Herbert – This one feels like a long time coming. Mike McDaniel is now the OC in LA, and I think he will untap all of Herbert’s potential.
Defensive Player of the Year: Myles Garrett – He won this award last year. Now he’s in a better defense with more help on a bigger stage. The odds for him to repeat are high.
Offensive Player of the Year: Jahmyr Gibbs – Gibbs is one of the most elusive and shifty running backs in the league. After putting up over 1200 yards last year, he tops that in 2026.
Offensive Rookie of the Year: Jadarian Price – Price has an opportunity to immediately be the lead back in the Seahawks backfield. He could blossom into a star quickly and put up big numbers.
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Reuben Bain Jr. – There were plenty of EDGE rushers taken ahead of him in April, but he has crushed training camp and the preseason and should be impressive.
Division Winners
NFC East – Philadelphia Eagles – This division could be Philly or Dallas, but I’ll stick with the Eagles.
NFC South – Carolina Panthers– The Panthers didn’t have a ton of distractions this offseason and should build off a solid season.
NFC North – Chicago Bears – They were a fun team in 2025; they will be a great team in 2026.
NFC West – Los Angeles Rams – Stafford on one side, Garrett on the other.
AFC East – Buffalo Bills – New coach, same team. Josh Allen will learn from his early exits.
AFC South – Houston Texans – I think DeMeco Ryans is the most legit coach in this division.
AFC North – Cincinnati Bengals – There was a lot of change in the AFC North this offseason, but the Bengals stayed the same.
AFC West – Los Angeles Chargers – The Chargers should have a much better offense, and I am betting on that.
Championship Games
AFC: The Bills will defeat the Chargers to finally get back to the Super Bowl. Josh Allen will finally get to stand on the podium.
NFC: There is no team better than the Rams in my book. They are taking down the Chicago Bears in the NFC Title Game.
Super Bowl
The last time the Rams won a Super Bowl, it was in Los Angeles. Super Bowl 61 is back at SoFi Stadium. The Rams will hoist the Lombardi there again.
