Just one week into the 2025 NFL season and we may have already watched the game of the year against the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens, Josh Allen already began his resume for the league’s MVP, and it seems like the NFC might have a new power. Sure, maybe there are some overreactions, but Week 1 gave us a lot to talk about. Here are our Top 3 2025 NFL Games Week 2.
Washington Commanders vs Green Bay Packers
This should be the best game of the week in my opinion. The new Micah Parsons led Green Bay defense was stellar against the Detroit Lions in Week 1. They shut down the Detroit run game which has made them so successful over the last two seasons. They held them to 13 points and frustrated Jared Goff. Now they get Jayden Daniels and the Commanders who have shiny new toys in Deebo Samuel and Jacory “Bill” Croskey-Merritt who both showed out in their debuts. This could be a preview of the NFC Championship Game so the fact that we are getting it in Week 2 is pretty special. Jordan Love looked fantastic in Week 1 and will look the same at home in Week 2. Prediction: Commanders 26 Packers 27
Philadelphia Eagles vs Kansas City Chiefs
One team is 1-0 and the other is 0-1. Thankfully for everyone reading this article, it’s the Eagles who have the win. In a rematch of the Super Bowl, the Chiefs could have their backs up against the wall and may start their year 0-2. KC battled with the Chargers in Week 1, but their run game was weak, and there is an issue in their wide receiver room. The Eagles fell behind the Cowboys but pulled out a big win, with some help from several CeeDee Lamb critical drops. Still, they get Jalen Carter back for a full game this week as long as he doesn’t spit on anyone else and I am predicting an upset on the road at Arrowhead. Prediction: Eagles 25 Chiefs 24
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Houston Texans
The Bucs head to Houston on Monday Night Football in what will be a huge test for the Texans who are looking to avoid an 0-2 start. C.J. Stroud didn’t look up to the part in their first game last week against the LA Rams, who appear to have a great defense in 2025. The Bucs went battling with the Falcons and came away with a massive win thanks to rookie Emeka Egbuka who caught two touchdown passes. They were bailed out by a missed kick that could have tied the game. DeMeco Ryans is a really bright head coach and should have his team ready to bounce back in primetime. Prediction: Bucs 20 Texans 27
