Phoenix, Arizona: Phoenix is a great jumping off point for some good day trips: Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Tombstone. But the hub of Southwestern culture also has great restaurants and hotels at affordable prices.
Sonoma, California: Located down beautiful country roads in the southern Sonoma Mountains, this stop is perfect for wine aficionados who want to take in a wine country tour in between races.
