Top 3 2026 NFL Games Week 2

Week 1 is in the books. One team was jet lagged; another lost their Super Bowl winning QB for a while. There were upsets like the Vikings beating the Packers, the Saints pushed the Lions to the brink, and the Chiefs seem to have gotten back on track with a dominant win vs the team that won their division a year ago. Week 1 gave us incredible entertainment. This week should give us the same with some amazing matchups. Here are our Top 3 2026 NFL Games Week 2.

Detroit Lions vs Buffalo Bills

The Bills open play at their brand-new stadium with the Lions coming to town. Buffalo and Detroit are coming off big thrilling wins from Week 1. The Bills forced a massive turnover to take away a game from the Texans while Detroit was sent to overtime where they had a 2-point conversion stand to fend off the Saints. We still have questions about what the Lions offense will fully look like with a new offensive coordinator, but they looked good in the first week of the year. The Bills gave up a lot, but they didn’t break when it came time to win the game. Josh Allen was the same old Josh Allen. With a new stadium opening, I think the Bills eke out a win. Prediction: Lions 24 Bills 31

Cincinnati Bengals vs Houston Texans

The Bengals and the Texans both played very similar games in Week 1. The outcome was different for each of them. Cincinnati pulled out a win against the Bucs who were driving and had a chance to win the game. The defense, which has been so lackluster in years past, certainly bent but didn’t break at the end and forced plenty of takeaways against Baker Mayfield. The Texans had chances to stop the Bills then score on the Bills to take a lead and couldn’t do either. Houston was one of the best defenses in the league a year ago but gave up 36 points in week 1. While I think the Bengals defense will give up plenty to this Texans offense, I need to see another week of Houston defense to know that Joe Burrow won’t have a massive game. I’m going with the Bengals in this spot. Prediction: Bengals 28 Texans 26

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Denver Broncos

This is a great AFC showdown where the Broncos will need a short memory and forget the whooping they got from the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1. After nearly making it to a Super Bowl a year ago and winning the division, everyone expected more from the Broncos than what they gave in Week 1. Denver allowed 31 points while the offense failed to get anything going with just 10 total points. The Jaguars didn’t have that issue. They dominated the Browns 34-10. The first Browns touchdown came with less than 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter in garbage time. Tampa’s defense is top notch, but their specialty is offense where Liam Coen knows what he’s doing. I need to see more from Denver to trust that I can take them in these spots. Starting 0-2 is a massive uphill battle to give yourself in this league, but that’s what I envision for the Broncos. Prediction: Jaguars 25 Broncos 21
