Top 3 2022 NFL Games Week 12

Week 12 in the NFL is going to feature at least four new starting quarterbacks. The playoff race is officially on, and things are getting interesting inside the locker room of some organizations like the Jets and Cardinals. Plenty of meaningful games will go down and there is a three-game slate on Thursday. Here are our top 3 2022 NFL games week 12.

New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys are a Thanksgiving regular and this one should be fun to watch. The Cowboys aren’t all that successful on Thanksgiving Day in the last few years, losing three straight games. Thankfully for them, they are coming off a massive 40-3 win over the Vikings and are trending in the right direction as their offense looks as explosive as ever with Tony Pollard leading the backfield. The Giants are trending in the opposite direction. They have lost two of their last three games and just allowed 31 points to the Detroit Lions. New York is still in the hunt in this NFC East division race, and they still have five division games on the schedule. If they lose this one and end up losing the tiebreaker to Dallas, it could be crushing. I like Dallas to end a Turkey Day losing streak and get back in the gravy. Prediction: Giants 21 Cowboys 24

Cincinnati Bengals Vs Tennessee Titans

This could be a preview of an AFC playoff matchup and I’m all for it. The Bengals have won two straight and their offense seems to have finally dusted off the rust from a Super Bowl run from a year ago. Their last five games have featured at least 35-point-plus performances, including a 42-spot against the Falcons two weeks ago. The Titans don’t relate all that well, as they have been limited offensively although they are coming off a 27-point performance and a win against the Green Bay Packers. The Bengals have the better quarterback and far more weapons and if this game becomes a shootout, it’s hard to overlook that simple fact. I’d like the Bengals in the postseason between these two and so I certainly like them in the regular season. Prediction: Bengals 31 Titans 21

Green Bay Packers vs Philadelphia Eagles

It feels like the Packers playoff chances are slowly slipping away as they continually fail to get on track. After the win over Dallas two weeks ago, it felt like they were back, but they followed that up with a loss to the Titans. Philly is 1-1 in their last two games and just barely edged out a dog fight against the Indianapolis Colts and they certainly haven’t played their best football in the last two weeks. I’m anxious to see Hurts vs Rodgers and I would tend to assume Jalen will put a hurting on him. It might be time to admit that this just isn’t the Packers team we are used to seeing, especially with the injuries they’ve faced on both sides of the ball. No one has a better record than Philly at the moment, so I’ll continue to roll the hot hand. Prediction: Packers 17 Eagles 31
