2025 AFC Draft Grades by Team

It was an interesting NFL draft weekend to say the least. Some major names fell down the board, a few teams got absolute steals, and a few picks left us scratching our heads. Here are our 2025 AFC draft grades by team.

AFC East

New England Patriots: B+

Will Campbell can anchor that offensive line for years to come, and they added TreVeyon Henderson who will run behind him for years to come.

Buffalo Bills: B

Maxwell Hairston is one of my favorite picks in the draft, an athletic corner that the Bills desperately needed. Landon Jackson was a total steal.

Miami Dolphins: B-

The Dolphins were able to really upgrade their trenches, which is how you have to rebuild any strong foundation. I thought they should’ve capitalized on a Tyreek Hill trade market in this draft, but they did not.

New York Jets: B –

The Jets took a safe bet in round one. They got a protector for Justin Fields, but I would have looked into trading a few key pieces that are coming up on contract years.

AFC South

Jacksonville Jaguars: A

James Gladstone made a huge splash in his first draft as the general manager, going up and getting Travis Hunter. I also liked the picks of Caleb Ransaw and Jack Kiser. Big haul for the Jags.

Tennessee Titans: B

Cam Ward was the consensus top overall pick, but not one that I am in love with. The Titans still did an excellent job at getting the best available, including Kevin Winston Jr. and Elic Ayomanor.

Houston Texans: C

The Texans were having an excellent draft considering they didn’t have a first round pick, but they really reached in some areas, especially with the pick of Woody Marks.

Indianapolis Colts: C

Of course, adding Tyler Warren is a major plus for this Colts team but there were so many othre needs that they had. Tight end shouldn’t have been their top priority.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens: A

Malaki Starks and Mike Green plus Emory Jones with their first three picks? Total steals for a team drafting that late.

Pittsburgh Steelers: B+

I think the Steelers did a nice job considering they didn’t take the bait on Sheduer Sanders. They got Derrick Harmon and then added more reinforcements with Jack Sawyer. They can see if they can develop Will Howard.

Cincinnati Bengals: D

I think the Bengals had one of the most boring and underwhelming drafts in the league. Shemar Stewart could be a nice addition, but outside of that, they did very little to improve.

Cleveland Browns: C-

The Browns draft class will go down for getting both Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders, but I did like the pick of Mason Graham. I was confused as to what the plan was here.

AFC West

Las Vegas Raiders: A

It’s not often that we praise the Raiders, but they hit a home run. Ashton Jeanty will command the backfield for years to come while Jack Bech and Darian Porter will be standouts on either side of the ball.

Kansas City Chiefs: B+

They always find great value despite picking later than almost every team. Omarr Norman-Lott and Nohl Williams were two players I had high grades on.

Denver Broncos: C+

Sean Payton and Co. had a ton of needs so spending their first-round choice on a cornerback when you already have Patrick Surtain wasn’t the brightest idea.

Los Angeles Chargers: C+

I actually like the pick of Tre Harris more than Omarion Hampton. While I think Hampton will have a nice NFL career, why did they sign Najee Harris to then add a running back in round one?
