Top 3 2024 NFL Games Week 7

In the NFL, there is never a dull week and even though the slate of games from Week 6 weren’t all that interesting, the next day proved to be a lot of fun. Davante Adams is officially a Jet, a move that has made sense for about a year now. Amari Cooper is now a member of the Bills. He must feel like a freed prisoner who won a trip to the Bahamas. Josh Allen gets a legit weapon, and the AFC East just got more interesting. Here are our Top 3 2024 NFL Games Week 7.

Detroit Lions vs Minnesota Vikings

How about this NFC North matchup? There are only two undefeated teams in the league remaining and the Minnesota Vikings led by Sam Darnold are one of them. They are coming off a bye week so have had plenty of time to prep for this game. The Lions are coming off a blowout win over the Cowboys, but did lose Aidan Hutchinson after a gruesome leg injury that required emergency surgery. This is a tough game on paper because the Vikings have been the best team in just about everything, but the Lions are unpredictable, and Dan Campbell keeps us on our toes. My prediction is that Justin Jefferson will get the best of a weak Lions secondary and the lack of pass rush with Hutchinson allows a few big plays. Prediction: Lions 21 Vikings 28

Kansas City Chiefs vs San Francisco 49ers

Oh, hell yeah. Super Bowl rematch. The Chiefs and the 49ers. This contest has leaned all KC recently. I mean, they’ve got two Super Bowl victories in the last five years against this Niners squad. The Chiefs are coming off a bye week while the 49ers have had extra rest after a big win against the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football. Both sides have had some serious injuries. The Chiefs are down a starting wide receiver and running back. The 49ers are down a starting running back and defensive tackle. Put the injuries aside. The better quarterback will win this close game, and my money is on Patrick Mahomes. One of the 49ers biggest weaknesses this year has been not finishing teams off in the 4th quarter and if there is one guy in this league who will really hurt you for that, it’s Mahomes. I see a close game and one that causes heartache for San Francisco fans. Prediction: Chiefs 30 49ers 28

Baltimore Ravens vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This should live up to a very fun Monday Night matchup. The Bucs have been one of the most fun teams to watch this season. They’ve had a disappointing loss at home to the Broncos and let one slip away two weeks ago to the Falcons. But Baker Mayfield has been slinging it and Tampa has been putting up major points. The Ravens are one of the most feared teams in the league with Lamar Jackson right in the middle of MVP talks and an offense that has flash and power with Derrick Henry. The NFL is full of upsets and while the Bucs defense has been bad at best the last two weeks, I think Todd Bowles reaches into his bag of tricks and gives us a defensive masterclass this time around. Prediction: Ravens 20 Buccaneers 27
