Top 3 2024 NFL Games Week 4

Maybe it’s just me, but it feels like a lot of teams around the National Football League have failed to find their footing through three weeks. Even the teams that are supposed to be the cream of the crop have faltered at times and given off confusing messages.  Looking at you Kansas City. Other teams have been downright disappointing with head-scratching losses week after week. Looking at you, Cincy. This week has another great slate for us which hopefully lives up to the hype. Here are our Top 3 2024 NFL Games Week 4.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers

Has there been more of a surprise this season than Sam Darnold being a top three quarterback through the first few weeks of the season? Slingin’ Sam has the second best QBR in the NFL and has a great connection with Justin Jefferson as the Vikings have jumped out to a 3-0 start despite them losing expected rookie starter J.J. McCarthy before the season even began. The Packers are dealing with a QB issue as Jordan Love works to get back on the field after his Week 1 injury. Malik Willis has played better than expected in Love’s two-week absence as they’ve gone 2-0. But the Vikings present a tough problem and there is no doubt that Aaron Jones will be gunning for revenge as he makes his return to Lambeau Field in the traitor’s colors. Prediction: Vikings 24 Packers 14

Kansas City Chiefs vs Los Angeles Chargers

For the most part, Chiefs and Chargers games are endlessly entertaining and have been a blast to watch since Justin Herbert came into the league. The issue this week is that there is a chance that Herbert won’t play due to an injury that forced him out of the game in Week 3 which would practically eliminate any chance of the Chargers winning this game. KC has started 3-0 but I have some doubts about their performances. They’ve won three extremely tight games that have all come down to a final possession. The lack of production from Travis Kelce is concerning and will make it easier on defenses to defend the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes if he continues to be absent. Even with a lacking Kelce, I like KC a ton if an injured Herbert hobbles out onto the field, but a low scoring game could be in the works. Prediction: Chiefs 27 Chargers 17

Buffalo Bills vs Baltimore Ravens

The Bills and Ravens are two of the better teams in the AFC through three weeks so while it’s still early in the year, this game could have a huge impact as we look at a potential 1-seed or home-field advantage in the postseason. Baltimore got their first win on Sunday, but make no mistake, this team has plenty of talent and weapons to make a deep run. Buffalo has made it look easy the last two weeks. They’ve outscored their opponents 78-20 and made primetime games turn into absolute snooze fests. I don’t see this being a blowout like some of the other matchups we’ve seen, but I like what I’ve seen from Josh Allen and a re-worked Bills offense that is scoring at will. Prediction: Bills 34 Ravens 28
